The short version, in a few minutes.

What good AI training covers, what it leaves out, and how to make it stick after the session ends.

Sound familiar?

Somewhere between scared and reckless.

  • Half the team is nervous of AI. The other half uses it without telling anyone.
  • We bought licences, and hardly anyone uses them properly.
  • We need an AI policy that people actually follow.
  • Our managers can't tell the hype from what's real.
  • Our engineers want to build with AI but don't know how to do it safely.

Formats

Small groups. Real attention.

I keep groups to 10 people or fewer, so everyone gets to ask their own questions and try things on their own work. Bigger organisations get several groups, or a train-the-trainer programme.

  • In person
  • Remote
  • Half day
  • Full day
  • Multi-week cohort
  • Train-the-trainer
  • One-to-one coaching
  • 1–10 people per group

Training is how I deliver

Every system I've built over 20+ years has started with conversations and ended with workshops and training for the people who use it. This isn't a side line. It's how I make sure technology gets used.

Taught by a practitioner

I design, build and secure real systems, so the examples are real, the risks are real, and the advice works on Monday morning.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Something not covered here? Ask me directly →

Our staff aren't technical. Is this for them?

Yes. The all-staff and manager sessions assume no technical background at all. If you can use email and a spreadsheet, you're ready.

Will it be tailored to our organisation?

Always. Before each session we agree which tools you use, what your data rules are, and which everyday tasks to practise on.

Can you run it remotely?

Yes: remote, in person, or a mix. In person, I'm based in Birmingham and work across the UK and Europe.

We have more than 10 people. What then?

I run several small groups, or train your own champions to carry it on (train-the-trainer). Small groups are what make it stick.

Do you cover our AI policy?

Yes. If you have one, we'll build the session around it. If you don't, I can help you write a clear, practical one first.

What happens after the training?

Everyone leaves with practical next steps. Follow-up coaching, cohorts and refresher sessions are available as AI tools change.
